Creative Freedom Foundation launch

CFF launched today, speaking out against the proposed changes to Section 92 of the Copyright Act which add in "Guilt Upon Accusation" laws that could force ISPs to terminate internet connections and websites without evidence, and without a fair trial.

On 28 February 2009, Section 92 will come into effect in New Zealand as proposed unless there is action on the part of the Government to change it. To date the Government has shown support for the bill and, unless there is major public protest against it, it will “roll over” in to law.

If you are in anyway concerned about Creative Freedom, I'd urge you to take a took at the information on http://CreativeFreedom.org.nz and make an informed decision about these issues.
