Once upon a time there was a gathering of engineers, sysadmins, programmers and other technical people. They came together in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington, with curry and beer. Often, quite a lot of beer. They decided to continue this consumption each week, and thus Thursday Night Curry was born.
The Wellington Testers is a group that gets together each Saturday mid-morning at a cafe (currently Southern Cross) to drink coffee and test-drive the latest version of the software for the XO.
We keep notes of the things we try, of the things that work well, and of the bugs we find. We post the notes to the development list, including all the things that did work (this makes programmers happy, after all, most of them are volunteers). For the bugs, we try our best to find steps to reproduce, and diagnose them.

It's that time of year again! The Unlimited Potential Annual General Meeting is approaching. As UP is an incorporated society we need to comply with certain formalities, such as meeting annually about general stuff.
This year the AGM will be hosted by the fine folk at YouDo, builders of exceptional software that helps complex business tick. Check out their website to see examples of their talent.
Hi all welcome who are either Drupal developers, users and even if you are considering using Drupal for your website. I'd also encourage organisations selling Drupal services to bring potential customers along and hear about Drupal as a CMS.
We'll have some live demos of websites currently used by NZ Organisations and what modules were used.
Location:

Unlimited Potential's W2W event aims to build bridges between academia, technology entrepreneurs and investor communities. The focus for this year's event is "internationalising your technology venture".
