“We’re going to give the public the chance to have their say - in contrast to the secrecy of the negotiation process,” says Jordan Carter, InternetNZ Policy Director.
Flash Builder 4 and Flex 4 are out. Also the launch of CS 5 is imminent and the next version of Creative Suite will come with a new release of the Flash CS5 authoring environment and Flash Catalyst.
With that, we'll have a look into the new products and how to use them, 'nough said :) Lots of cool demos and playing with the new features.
Also, we will raffle a full license of Flash Builder 4 Professional among the attendees of the night who have registered for the event. There will be food and drinks - please also register for catering purposes.
The Wellington Testers is a group that gets together each Saturday mid-morning at a cafe (currently Southern Cross) to drink coffee and test-drive the latest version of the software for the XO.
We keep notes of the things we try, of the things that work well, and of the bugs we find. We post the notes to the development list, including all the things that did work (this makes programmers happy, after all, most of them are volunteers). For the bugs, we try our best to find steps to reproduce, and diagnose them.
The 2010 Wellington MoodleMoot is a one day event to be held at Te Papa Tongarewa, Museum of New Zealand, on the 29th April, 2010. This event is an excellent opportunity to share lessons, experiences, know-how with colleagues from across Education sectors and beyond.
There are three core streams:
* Moodle and Workplace Learning. This stream will appeal to industry training organisations, private firms and public sector agencies interested in how Moodle is being used in the workplace context.
